I've been taking my cats to My Pets Animal Hospital for about 15 years, and they have always gotten great care. Would highly recommend their services. Great staff!

We took both of our cats in for their annual visits recently. Everyone in the office is very personable and does their best to ensure you and your pets are comfortable. Dr. Dickson performed our cats wellness exams and made sure to take the time to answer all of our questions, provide reassurance, and offer multiple solutions for some minor challenges we have been facing with our cats adjusting to moving into a new home. Everyone in the office cares for your pets as if they were their own. Could not ask for a better experience from start to finish.

My cats have been seen by my pets for several years and I’ve never felt the usual anxiety about their care. Everyone has always treated them with the respect that I’ve never felt at other veterinarians. The vets always listen to my concerns and I’ve felt like they truly care about my furr babies.
Recently I had to put my 17 year old girl to sleep . This was an extremely difficult decision for me. The entire staff was amazing. She was a very important part of my family . Dr Kortegast and the staff were compassionate and did their very best to make my girl as comfortable as possible. While being mindful of my heartache. I’ve had to go through this process too many times in my life as we often do as animal lovers. I’ve always left feeling sick about the decision not knowing if it was the right decision or feeling like the vet just wanted to get it over with and get me out the door. Or the feeling that I let it go for too long and kept them because I couldn’t let go and made them suffer needlessly. With Sammy I felt none of those awful heartwrenching feelings. My pets was wonderful with her care from the time she got sick right up until she no longer had any quality of life . They cared and I felt it. I didn’t feel gaslit and she was never diminished. Thank you Dr Kortegast and the entire staff for the love and care for the very important members of my family. In a very difficult time. I’ve been to at least 7 other veterinarian offices in Lakeland since moving to Lakeland and this is the only veterinarian I would recommend. My cats have seen a few of the vets at this clinic and they have all been wonderful

I scheduled a new patient appt for my doggo to have her current TCVM herb protocol evaluated after moving to the area from the midwest. They do require a deposit at the time of booking an appointment, but the deposit is very reasonable and it serves as the cost of the exam. The facility was beautiful and clean. The front desk staff were friendly. The technician I worked with was absolutely wonderful and super thorough. Dr. Donna made me and my girl feel so comfortable. I have worked in veterinary medicine as an assistant for nearly 6 years, so my standards for care are high. This veterinary hospital knocked it out of the park for me.

Finding a good vet is hard. This place is wonderful. Fairly priced and very knowledgeable staff. They remember pets names and treat each pet personal. I recommend everyone I know to this place.

I used this vet for 5 years. They are fantastic. They’re friendly, knowledgeable, really care about your pet and you. I just recently moved away and they helped me with taking my 14 year old dog to Pennsylvania, a very long car ride for an older dog, especially one with car anxiety and separation anxiety. I flew and my son drove our dog up. Unfortunately my dog had some issues after the move. The local vet here contacted My Pets and I received the sweetest sympathy card signed by everyone. They are a fantastic choice no matter what kind of animal you have.

Tried calling to confirm that they have a doctor on staff to handle rabbits. I had to call 7 times before someone would answer the phone. I'm sorry, but how difficult is it to excuse yourself from the in-person conversation you're having to ask the person on the phone to please hold? Apparently, really difficult. (Though, from my own personal experience as a primary phone answerer for a business, it's NOT difficult)
And guess what eventually happened? That's right. A woman answered the phone, rudely, and asked me to hold - and put me on hold before I could answer. This place needs better staff, or at least to fire that woman.
Honestly, if this wasn't the only place within driving distance that does deal with rabbits, I wouldn't even consider this place.

Dr. Donna and her staff are wonderful. My dog had a dental procedure and they did an excellent job. They made sure to keep me updated on how she was doing throughout the day. I can not say enough about them. 20 out of 10. Definitely recommend for anything!
