The entire office is friendly, professional and welcoming. They are very understanding of nervous dental patients and go above and beyond to ease any fears. I cannot say enough praise for Kym, the hygienist who did my cleaning. She is so kind and calming..and takes the time to explain everything she is doing and makes sure you are comfortable. Best dental experience EVER!
⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ This may be a lengthy post, but if you have dental fears, PLEASE READ. I'm also going to be vulnerable in the post, which if you know me, is not like me lol. Dental anxiety for some is SO much more than just being scared of the dentist. For me, I had a very traumatic experience as an eight-year-old girl with a dentist, while I won't go into it, it was so terrifying that I was screaming, and they wouldn't let my mom in and she tried to climb through the receptionist window. Funny not funny now 😂. Fast forward to adulthood, I had to be prescribed Valium to even go get a teeth cleaning. I have passed out in a waiting room, had them refuse to do the work because my blood pressure was so high, and typically get the shakes so bad that they can't even do the work anyways. Valium didn't work, Xanax didn't work, nothing worked. After posting in a few of our local groups, Midtown Dental was referred to me for twilight sedation dentistry. I got unlucky in the genetics department (thanks, Dad 😂), yep, my brother, and my mom have perfect teeth. So I needed quite a lot of work done this time around, including fixing a botched root canal from another dentist that is no longer in business. To say I was nervous was an understatement. I didn't sleep for two days and I was a mess going in this morning. I CANNOT SING THEIR PRAISES ENOUGH! From my consultation to today, the staff there is the most kind and gentle staff I have ever dealt with and Dr N is incredible. I've never felt so cared for or understood the way I did with MidTown. My husband immediately an appt to have his wisdom teeth out after his comsultation today during my surgery. Please don't listen to the bad reviews from Covid, leaving bad reviews over masks was the cool thing to do then 🙄 d n
