Lakeland Animal Clinic

Took my 9 year old Chihuahua in for a tooth extraction they said she was ok and she wasnt she stopped eating and kept puking and last night she died. So I'm blasting them for killing my sweet baby girl $1300 for my sweet girl to be gone forever because I tried to do the right thing🥺

I have been using this clinic for over three years and absolutely love it here. I have 11 animals and we have been through some times! Dr Kyle and vet tech Kyhla are absolutely amazing. All of the staff (im terrible with names) are great. Front desk is always very helpful too. This clinic is very clean, staff is personable, and I always feel my animals are in good hands! Sure the prices here are higher , BUT you get what you pay for. Appointments are nearly always on time, very professional staff, and spot on care. You guys rock!

I no longer take my pets here but wanted to share my disappointment about this clinic. I have multiple dogs and cats and I love them with all my heart. In my opinion, this clinic over charges for their services and does not display GENUINE concern for your pets. It is unfortunate and certainly sad to see.

I take both my boys there and very happy with Dr Kyle and her staff.

I recently took my new puppy, August, to Lakeland Animal Clinic, and the entire experience was fantastic. From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming, and Dr. Malak’s assistant really made us feel at home. The clinic itself is spotlessly clean, which gave me a lot of confidence as a new pet owner.

Dr. Malak was incredibly helpful, professional, and patient. He took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure August was comfortable during the visit. It’s clear that everyone there genuinely cares about the animals they treat.

This will definitely be my go-to clinic for August from now on. Highly recommended! 🐾💙

Helped us through the very difficult experience of losing our 10 year old dog. The staff were very understanding and gave us all the information and reassurance we needed.

I’ve been taking my cat to Animal Lakeland Clinic for her annual checkups for two years, but my recent experiences have been extremely disappointing.

They pre-charge for services as part of their “exam packages,” but those services aren’t provided on the same day. If you don’t return for them, you’ve already paid—and there are no refunds.

During my cat’s August visit, I was told I had already paid for her feline leukemia booster and just needed to bring her back for a quick tech appointment. The receipt even showed a byline for the second vaccine. When my niece brought her back, the clinic charged her again. It took multiple calls and emails over several days before they reluctantly refunded me, claiming the receipt line was just a “reminder,” not proof of payment—something that makes no sense.

More recently, I requested a deworming prescription through Chewy (a standard requirement for travel). The clinic refused to approve it, falsely claiming that I had “moved my cat permanently to Mexico,” because I requested a health certificate to authorize travel for a trip. I never indicated my cat was permanently moving anywhere. I simply needed a certificate to authorize travel. This feels like retaliation for questioning previous billing issues.

Overall, I would not recommend Animal Lakeland Clinic. The lack of transparency, poor communication, and questionable billing practices have completely eroded my trust.
