I am traveling and needed a local vet to treat my Stevie (chihuahua mix) and give her vaccinations.
What a delight it was to take her to Companion Animal Hospital in Lakeland, FL. I was able to get a same-day appointment, even as a new patient, and their care was amazing. Lab results were given to me in 15 minutes (they have an in-house lab, which is extremely helpful), the exam and advice was caring and thorough, and the prices were reasonable.
I will definitely be using them any time I am back in the area and need vet services for my two dogs.

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr Mattson ! She has cared for our fur kids for many years and helped us through bringing them into the world and heartfelt letting them go when the time came Wouldn’t go anywhere else !

I cannot thank the doctor and staff enough for the exceptional care they provided for my dog during her emergency surgery today. Everyone was compassionate, patient, and incredibly skilled. The doctor explained everything clearly and treated my dog as if she were their own. On top of the outstanding service, their pricing was very fair and transparent, especially for an emergency procedure. I’m truly grateful for everything they did. Highly recommend this team!
