BayCare Urgent Care (South Lakeland)

Did not wanna help me their website says they do physicals and they called me literally a few minutes later saying we can’t help you we don’t do physicals and everything. They didn’t even ask about my insurance or not like that and I looked all over the website in the I like they don’t do walk-ins and everything but it’s just whatever it’s whatever I got the insurance I got the money. I got all that stuff and they just they didn’t wanna do the physical the quick check It literally says physical on website

Inattentive and unreasonably slow

Great professional care at BayCare Urgent Care in South Lakeland. Everyone was kind and efficient. They addressed the issues immediately, and treatment was completed quickly with no waiting.

2 stars only because they are nice. Unfortunately nice doesn’t help when you have a medical issue that can lead to permanent hearing loss.
I went in for an ear infection and was given only oral antibiotics. Overnight my infection spread to my parotid gland causing my face to swell and my ear drum to rupture. The “doctor” working there is not a doctor and could not prescribe me any pain medication. I was in extreme pain and couldn’t eat or sleep for days until I saw a real ENT doctor who knew what he was doing and prescribed different antibiotics, ear drops and pain medication.
My ear canal is still so swollen he cannot get a good look at my eardrum. I will potentially have permanent hearing loss.
If a “doctor” cannot help she should have enough common sense and humility to suggest a patient go where they can get the appropriate medical treatment.
I will never return and will absolutely never even suggest to anyone they visit this facility. In my opinion this is medical malpractice and dangerous to the even be in operation with only a nurse running a clinic.

I will never go back. She had no business doing neuro tests on me when I went there to see if my UTI had returned and a possible kidney infection.

It was 7:45 on Friday evening and they close at 8:00. None of the staff, from the receptionist to the nurse, to the Physician Assistant, made me feel like an inconvenience. It was a really good experience considering my issue. Thank you to all of the staff.

I have used this urgent care several times now. It has always been a pleasant experience. Fast, friendly, and everyone there treats you with respect. Thanks!

My son saw PA David today and wow what a great experience. He helped my kiddo feel very comfortable, he didn’t rush the appt, he answered all my “silly mom” questions and helped us feel confident in the plan for my son’s illness. Very successful appt from the front desk to check out.
