Where can I start ? I was a former student of Artistic Nails . All I can say is that anyone who wants to study cosmology, massage therapy or esthetics, think about it before you sign up with this school. My first choice was Aveda , but it was far away so I decided to take a chance with this one. I am sure that many people who worked when I was a student they no longer employees of the school . As much as I understand how hard it is to find a job in this economy ,I also believe in decency and honesty. Which none of the people who worked here have. I was one of the many students who were tricked into believing that after you finished everything will be ok . It was a lie! After I sacrificed myself and even my child to get my license they told me about some money I was not aware of , and I will continue to say for the rest of my life , THEY DIDNT TELL ME ANYTHING ABOUT ANY MONEY. Two years later I don’t have my license. The owner is the most disrespectful and rude person I have even encountered, not too mentioned his attorney who tried to silenced me because they were afraid of other people finding out how they operated. I was treated like a criminal when I was a good student , always willing to do anything for the school . A school that is a disaster to begin with. They take advantage of low income students, single parents who struggle to afford to go to school. Every time I remember how I was treated by all the people who worked there it makes me disgust. This is the reason why so many students are in debts in this country , because of people who greed is their main motivation. It was and it will not be to help people. The use the department of education funds for their own purposes, giving students a shitty education, teachers with no experience or struggling to help students for the lack of materials and tools. Recently I decided to give it a tried in another school, because even if I have the money to get my license, I don’t think I am prepared to take the Massage Therapy exam. so I decided to take a chance in another school far away from Lakeland. The classes are way different, the cleanliness of the school was amazing, the dedication and the professionalism of the teachers and the staff is so different than Artists nails. As a matter of fact , after speaking with so many people from the AMTA I am ashamed to say I study here. I hope everyone who is interested in getting into massage therapy or esthetics do so . Is a very regarding job and the opportunities are endless . Just make sure you receive the education you deserve and pay for . DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING WITHOUT READING EVERYTHING, YES EVERYTHING. Go to the school of your choice and sit down a few days if is necessary . Go school shopping, don’t get involved with the first one that offers you things that seems to go to be truth. Don’t trust people from financial aid . They will make you sign things without explaining in details what you getting into . More importantly, don’t trust them when they look like they care . They don’t ! They work for a company that has no interest in helping you at all .

I had a full spa day today. A much needed experience. I got a massage by Kristen who was awesome and helped with the soreness in my neck. A facial with Danielle who did microderm and made sure my face was fresh and dewy and a pedicure with Harmony, who rocked an awesome service, my nails looked great and the massage chairs were the perfect touch. Plus Alexia put lashes clusters on me. ( my first experience) Over all it was a great day. If your looking for an awesome experience and want to be a valuable part of these students growth I highly recommend checking them out. The best part. There are 2 campuses. One in Lakeland and one in Tampa! I will be back to repeat soon, hope you will be to!

Today, Thursday Nov. 14, 2024. I went to the school to get my haircut from a barber. My hair was cut by Dylan, who has done an excellent job on my hair. Since I have been coming to the school, he is the only one that has done an excellent job on my hair. Kudos to Dylan

Rosa at the front was great. My stylist/student was great her name is Dyanna J. Her ig is @dolld_byd. I let her know I'm tender headed and she checked in on me through the wash and blow dry process
