This was my second time visiting the four seasons orlando spa and once again, it exceeded my expectations. We started by leaving our car with the valet (this is validated by the spa upon check out). The staff were very kind and directed us towards the spa. Take a left, go down to the first floor using the elevatorors. Approach the 2 white double doors and then take a right. The spa will be on your right.
Upon check in (30 mins before your appointment time) you will be given an IPad to have you fill our waivers and health questionnaires.
From there, awesome staff like Carlos will take you to your locker room. He and another female guest can show you into your locker room where you will find your robes and slippers. They have canned water or fruit infused water and from here you can use the restroom, showers, steam room, sauna,outdoor hot tub, relaxing chairs, and a unique shower with multiple rain simulations. They have all amenities from hair products to deodorants, combs to mouthwash etc.
From there you can enjoy complimentary snacks and teas. They have dark chocolate coins, almonds, dates, banana bread slices, college crunch, rishi teas etc. Enjoy a seat by the fire or in the sun before your masseuse comes for you.
Of all the massage therapists I have ever had, Ashley was by far the greatest I have ever had! She was perfect with pressure and focused well on knots and tension.
After the massage you have access to all of the spa amenities mentions above and then you can dress and get ready to check out.
From here you can text the valet you are ready so your car will be ready by the time you arrive.
While I've never stayed at this lovely hotel, I have had a variety of other experiences promoting a good review. As a local, there's no need for me to book here due to having a home and the high price of renting a room.. But, The Grand Floridian offers a variety of other activities and experiences worth exploring. Most recently, I attended a wedding at the pavilion. It was a lovely experience and I hope to do it again some day. Afterwords, we were able to leave our car and take the monorail over to MK. This was very convenient! In the spring, I love dropping by to see the chocolate painted Easter eggs. I'll drop a few pictures. Near Christmas time is magical at the GF. The decor and huge gingerbread house will blow you away. The only reason this place isn't getting 5 stars from me is the price. I would love to stop by for a staycation, but the price is just out of reach.
My 5 year old daughter had never gotten a haircut and was adamant she wouldn't get one. I convinced her that it would be okay if we did it on our Disney World trip and she agreed. She was very nervous at the beginning but the cast members were wonderful, she got an Elsa wand and immediately relaxed. We got the first haircut option which included the cut, 1st Haircut Mickey Ears and a lock of hair to keep. It was a pretty good price especially considering it's on Disney Property and a wonderful memory to have. The barbershop is very small inside and they seem to stay busy so make sure to reserve a spot a head of time. I'm so happy she was able to get her first haircut at Disney.
Hands down the best spa ever! Ask for Hector, extremely knowledgeable in personal overall wellness. Exceptional masseuse. Overall, everyone is friendly and helpful.
I recently visited the Grand Floridian Spa for a massage, and while the treatment was excellent, the check-in and check-out process was a bit chaotic. The spa itself is charmingly unimposing, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The massage was top-notch, delivered with great skill and professionalism. However, the front desk seemed disorganized, and I even saw a cashier chase after a guest who walked out without paying. Despite this, the overall experience was relaxing and rejuvenating. With improved administrative processes, this spa could be exceptional.
Fun area. Lots to see and do. Plenty of good photos opportunities in this area.
