Never been to a medical facility and gotten stereotyped and accused of trespassing in the parking lot by security because I’m taking too long to get out of my car as if I’m not coming in for a medical condition and need to take my time getting out of the car due to a disability. I Said as much and still got told to either get out of my car and check in or leave. Once inside there was again a subtle unwelcoming feeling as if everyone was annoyed to be working the overnight shift and again being rushed by staff to hurry up, one staff member saying “are you coming or what?” Nice facility but that staff was so unprofessional leaving me to walk out and go to a much better urgent care with better customer service, especially in an emergency room setting.

Came here for a foot/toe injury. All I've been given is a very very basic exam. Nobody would provide me a wheelchair and a pain medication. Nobody comes in a checks on me and I've been waiting almost 3 hours for an X-ray. Why others are getting theirs. Terrible service. Would be in and out quicker at another ER

I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to the incredible doctors, nurses, and staff at the ER who cared for me during multiple visits this past week.
I came in experiencing severe facial swelling, an extensive dental infection, fever, intense pain, and complications that ultimately required staying longer than an hour or two and IV antibiotics. Every time I walked through those doors, I was treated with kindness, compassion, professionalism, and genuine concern for my well-being.
The medical team took my symptoms seriously, listened to my concerns, and worked diligently to ensure I received the care and treatment I needed. The nurses were attentive and compassionate, checking on me frequently and making a very difficult situation a little easier to endure. The physicians were thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly, helping me feel informed and reassured during a frightening experience.
When you’re in severe pain and feeling scared, the way healthcare professionals treat you matters more than words can express. This team made me feel seen, heard, and cared for every step of the way.
Thank you to everyone who played a part in my care. Your dedication, empathy, and commitment to your patients do not go unnoticed. Because of your efforts and the treatment I received, I was able to get the infection under control and continue my recovery.
I will forever be grateful for the exceptional care I received. You made one of the hardest weeks of my life a little easier, and for that, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤🏥✨ The Morgans

Brought my elderly mother there after a fall and she sat in the back waiting room for 2 hrs and slower than the hospital asked for nurses multiple times doctor on site couldnt read an x-ray... wth how does an emergency room for uf health have no doctor to ready xray ?

The absolute worst UF Health I’ve ever been to. The doctor was extremely dismissive about how sick I was and basically told me to get over it and take Tylenol . Now, 3 days later, I’m still fevering and sick. I was left sitting in the hallway for 44 minutes before I got up and asked for my test results. (On top of waiting forever to be seen by a nurse twice) This place had horrible customer service and did not care about their patients. I felt very uncomfortable sitting next to a man who was delirious and most likely on drugs with only a thin black curtain to separate us. They were passing out lung X-rays like confetti for $$$ but not doing further testing to figure out the real problem. If a patient says they are not feeling well repeatedly and they don’t have a history of coming in a lot for stupid stuff, PLEASE care enough to do more testing. Dr. Panaitescu, Vlad should seriously take a class on human decency and compassion. Calling the kids I work with “ little parasites” is rude and unprofessional. I don’t care where I got sick from, do testing and figure out the problem. Your patients pay your bills at the end of the day.

We were there for well over an hour (not the issue at all) on 5/19 around 1:00 pm and we told the staff multiple times there was vomit in the waiting area, the staff acknowledged us but nothing was done about it. Makes me wonder how truly clean the rest of the facility is. Why is it the team doesn’t care to work in a nice and clean environment?

I was brought under the Baker act for a false report and it took around 6-8 hours for a doctor and a social worker to talk to me and clear me. Their idea of the treatment for mental health patients is to stick all of them in one tiny room in the ER , and put a sheet up over the windows so the cameras don't point in. Everybody in there was then harassed and assaulted by the security guard. When I attempted to file a complaint and to get the name of the security guards the ER doctors threatened to forcefully medicate me, refused to get me patient advocate, and refused to get me the security guards supervisor. I will be moving forward legally and filing a complaint with the state.
