Plant Place nursery as well worth a stop for its extensive collection of local plants and native cultivars. I'm also a fan of their low-chemical nursery practices. . I think it makes plants more resilient and more environmentally friendly. They also lean toward florida-friendly gardening and that makes a lot of sense to me because I I prefer to not pour lots of water and chemicals on my garden. Check them out!
The staff is pretty knowledgeable and I appreciate that they'll say they don't know when they don't know something rather than the sometimes sloppy advice from other nurseries.

Awesome place! We live about an hour away but come to Jacksonville for business and sports pretty regularly. We will definitely be back. Picked up a few vegetables and a couple plants for the house. Staff was very helpful in picking out plants.

A gardener's paradise!! I make the almost hour trip to this fabulous local nursery for their large selection of FL natives-which aren't sold at the popular nursery blocks from me! They also have a large selection of shrubs, trees, houseplants, & annuals. Friendly, helpful staff + follow their FB page for daily stock list & photo updates. You can't go wrong!
