“Just drove down from Chicago to purchase a Meinl Weston 2250 - F tuba - from their tuba showroom. One of few places I know of in the US that has a large selection of professional grade tubas that you can go in and play before purchasing. I was going to purchase from a large national music retailer but I would’ve needed to pay for the horn before they could even order it, which would’ve meant choosing a rather expensive horn without being able to play it first. It was also considerably cheaper to get the horn from here than my local music retailer. Warren K was super professional and informative and great to work with. If you’re looking to buy a professional quality instrument that you can play and try out before buying, don’t look anywhere else. Well worth a road trip to get a quality instrument from people who know what they’re doing. They also offer interest free financing! Super pleased with my experience.
