Staff members are friendly, upbeat, and always on time for appointments, with some doctors, like Dr. Suh, receiving special praise. Convenient services like in-house blood work and a patient portal make the experience even better, earning high recommendations from those who have visited.
Kristen has been my primary care provider for over 10 years. She is very knowledgeable, compassionate and thorough. She explains her decision making, but also values my input, thoughts and decisions on my own medical care. I have never considered switching to another provider since I started seeing her and I highly recommend Kristen as a PCP!
Even as an established patient, it takes an act of God to get an appointment or message response via phone or portal. If you need to see a specialist, you might as well call the funeral home. I've been on a wait list for months and if they ever call me back it will be several more months for the appointment. So far, I've gone outside of Mayo for a dermatologist and cardiologist, both of whom I got appointments as a new patient in 1-2 weeks. I'm truly disappointed in Mayo.
I've been a patient here for a few years and I have some wonderful doctors, lab techs and radiology team. As of late, it seems to have changed. I have been trying for three days to schedule a follow up after being in the ER. The hold times are insane. 1.5 hours, 45 minutes, 32 minutes, etc. Multiple times I have been disconnected. I opted to leave my call back number and assumed someone would to schedule and nothing. I'm supposed to see my doctor within 5 days of my ER visit. How can I do that when I can't get through?
