I have been coming to Lina African Braiding for about a year, and this was my fourth time getting the same style, Bora braids. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing. The price increased, but the quality of service got worse. The braids were bigger, not full, and my hair did not look complete, even though I paid more than before. What made it more frustrating is that my previous braids were taken down by the stylist, so they knew exactly what the style should look like. Despite that, the result was not the same or better. At the end of the service, I was told it was cash only, with no notice at the beginning. That should be communicated upfront. On top of that, there was a clear language barrier. I tried to explain how I wanted my hair, but the stylist did not understand, which added to the poor experience. Overall, the service has declined while the prices have gone up. I expected consistency and professionalism as a returning customer, but that was not my experience this time.

Place very unprofessional I called because I was referred lady gave me one price and I was already told a price but because I was telling her that she hung up on my face. They will never get my money!

I went here to get my hair I chrochets first lina told me 100 dollars I get there and it’s 120.00 not only that lina was supposed to do it she walks in talking in her African language and the lady that was doing it did not do what I asked I said please don’t put so much hair she still did it and lina acted like she had an attitude because she had to cut it my hair was still not like I wanted it I ended up taking it out terrible.

Owner Leena is a liar and unprofessional she do not know how to separate business feelings from personal!! Disloyalty at an all time high my daughter and all of her children (3 girl ) have always supported her company paid whatever price she quoted and even tip every person that touched her and her kids head all for Leena to be mad that my daughter missed an appointment mind you she don’t live in Jax and drive there to be serviced so now every time they call she say she don’t have availability is that how you treat a long time loyal customer?! No worries we will take our hard earned money some where
