THIS LOCATION IS CLOSED!! 28May24 was my first visit to this location and I found it was closed. I was told by someone that works in another business in the building that the VA had moved out 4 or 5 weeks before the day of my visit. The Jacksonville Southpoint V.A. search results/website needs to be updated to reflect this closure so no other Vets waste their time and gas money traveling to this location.

I’ve experienced the phone issues as well, but my concern is with how unkempt the grounds are for a VA site. The parking garage is dimly lit during the day, so I’m sure it’s pitch black by the time staff gets off. It’s extremely dirty, rusty, full of leaves, wasp nests everywhere; I’m not really sure how the thing is still standing. The building itself isn’t well maintained either and it’s really a shame. Hopefully the operations here can/will be moved to the new Northside location once open.

No one picks up the phone!!!! NEVER DO!! They are horrible with appointments too once someone finally gets ahold of you! “Can you come in for labs today“ oh okay ,so last minute I guess the VA in Jacksonville forgot PEOPLE HAVE LIVES SO IT IS IMPORTANT TO PICK UP AND CALL US BACK NOT WEEKS LATER AND SAY OH COME DO LABS. Nope not adjusting my schedule cause of the VA DOESN'T CARE.
