(TL;DR Dr. Azi has a soft touch and high standards. I ramble below, but that’s all you need to know.) You’ve heard of Dr. Oz, but you need to know Dr. Azi; she’s my new favorite dentist! They play all the best music, got the Netflix running in the room to distract you, and they love Clint Eastwood and Anthony Bourdain, so you already know they’re good people. Even better, she is ever so picky. I pity the contractor who has to remodel her kitchen. I can’t imagine her being the kind of person who says, “This isn’t what I ordered, or it’s not cooked right, but I’m hungry or in a hurry so I’ll just eat it anyway.” I’ve only ever seen her being respectful and polite (even when firmly disagreeing with me about my own teeth!) I’m an eavesdropper (judge me see if I care), but I’ve never even overheard her being rude or catty with the staff. She’s pleasant and agreeable, but oh my is she picky! Oh I’m sorry, you don’t want a hyperfastidious human digging around in your teeth? You’re looking for a cowboy with a Milwaukee? I don’t think so. I think you want the kind of professional who would make the Property Brothers roll their eyes. At her! If you’ve ever heard your dentist say, “meh, close enough” while drilling for gold inside your choppers, you might want to rethink your life choices. And oh, the pain. Let me tell you about the pain. I’m an undercover ginger, so everything hurts. All the time. If you want to know who’s the best dentist, ask a red head. Or don’t. Sometimes a true redhead can’t tell you when something hurts because everything hurts. That’s definitely not my curse. I know when it hurts, but I try not to let on when it hurts because then folks just fill my face with novocaine, and I’ll be in misery for the next month when it finally wears off. But Dr. Azi reads faces. And I suck at poker. And as it turns out, my eyes dilate when I feel pain. She kept pausing to ask me what was going on, and when she found out I had discomfort but wanted to continue, she was legit conflicted. Even her assistant Kelli (cool ppl that Kelli btw) tried to convince me to get another shot because “It hurts her when patients hurt.” !!! Did you hear that? Dr. Azi, the Empathetic Dentist! That’s a thing? She really does have a soft touch and was almost finished before she busted me, so she didn’t insist on more novocain, which is good for me because she is a persuasive argumenter (argumentist?) Due to genetic makeup, poor decisions, and a lot of interstate travel, there’s a good chance I have visited more dentists than you have, and you will not find a more pain free yet particularly competent dentist than Dr. Azi. We need a properly androgynous or misogynist term for “She’s the man!” (Edit: As it turns out, “misogynist” does not mean “feminine.” Please insert my mortified apology here.)
To anyone who needs an exceptional dentist look no further. Dr. Azi is a Rock Star who always has a smile on her face and will sing to you while she takes care of your teeth 😀. The staff are also just as kind and compassionate as she is. I would recommend this practice to anyone, any age and any dental issues. You will not be disappointed.
I love Dr. Azzi, she is the best dentist that I have been to. She make sure you are comfortable, she is gentle & yet patient. While working in your mouth, she always ask if you are ok or are you in any pain. She & her staff is awesome. Are referred some of my Co-workers to her & they all love her. Kudos to my dentist.
