We bought a dream finder home under 3 years ago and have already had several issues with our home. About 2 years in, the ceiling to the garage started leaking with water, we had to dry the entire area out and had to cut out pieces of our walls and ceiling to take care of the issue. When a plumber went to look at it, they let us know that because of how fast the building had been done, there were cracks in our plumbing. On top of that, our hvac compressor broke down within the first two years even with this being a new build done in 2023. They preach that you can use the warranty for any fix to get you to buy the home, but they’ll never come out on warranty... read full review

After moving into a Dream Finders Homes community in Apopka, I quickly noticed a major problem with construction debris scattered throughout the neighborhood including food waste and bones around shared spaces like parks. I reported it, but nothing was done to fix the issue.
Not long after, my dog picked something up while we were out walking. It turned out to be a food-related foreign object that required surgery to remove, resulting in over $8,000 in veterinary expenses.
