I don't own a Dostie house but I need to back them up when I saw the low rating reviews about them being slow while the other builders are faster with higher quality. Being faster sometimes means that the builder hires whoever is available on the market to do the job, likely with a lower rate. Seems Dostie sticks to their trusted contractors only. Likely that's why you are waiting so long. Fast, quality, budget - you can get two out of three only. Secondly, big builders like T***Bro***** build fast. That's true, but let's talk about quality. If you know how they built, you will need to think twice if you want to buy what they built.... read full review

Our experience with Dostie was superb. We specifically were blessed to work with David H. and after spending months working with him, he and the builder gave us the exact family-feel we were looking for. David was extremely attentive to our needs, timeline, and considerate that we were moving two children and two dogs. Any questions we had were answered quickly and clearly, and the attention to detail and customer service was 10/10. Our home was a spec / quick move-in but felt custom to us. Any little imperfection was immediately taken care of and remedied. The communication flow amongst the team at Dostie was solid and everyone held each other accountable. From our first meeting with David Hayes through the continued support from JP Foshee, our experience with the Dostie team has been spectacular. Buying a house is stressful. Building a house triples that stress. That is, unless you are building with Dostie and have David, Lauren and JP on your side. Interacting with those team members is analogous to being with friends. Dostie’s commitment to quality is evident throughout the build and the end result is a great house that becomes a home.
