About Hurlburt Field Medical Clinic
Hurlburt Field Medical Clinic is a moderate sized clinic with excellent quality service and a superb location overlooking the gulf of Mexico. The staff is wonderful, treating patients like a person and not merely a patient. The clinic is clean and nice looking inside, resembling a Florida medical clinic. Pharmacy techs and volunteers are always very professional and courteous, though the pharmacy is sometimes slow and other times really fast. The pediatrics team is truly caring, and nurses readily address concerns. However, there are huge problems with activation, and the clinic is always understaffed. Appointments take months long waits, and some patients have had to switch medication back to civilian providers.
Hurby medical clinic is so clean and nice looking inside. It screams what you’d think a Florida medical clinic would look like. Their pharmacy is sometimes slow and other times really fast. I’ve been there 3 times now and have had mainly positive experience.
Retired USAF here. Pharmacy techs and volunteers are always very professional and courteous. Average wait time to get RXs via refill call-in line says 3 duty days to fill scripts, but the airmen here are always exceeding expectations and getting it done quickly. Nice to not have to use the entire lunch hour to get meds. Well done!
This is a moderate sized clinic with excellent quality service and a superb location; overlooking the gulf of Mexico. So far, I have no complaints. Thanks to all the staff for their dedication to their patients.
