This isn’t just an academy. This is what we call home. We came here looking for a gym but came out with a family instead. From each coach to members you will feel the want to grow better everyday. You will be push to the highest version of yourself and that’s what happened to me. The Rocha family will always have a spot in our hearts because of how much impact they have had in our lives. Coach Adrian and Coach Jose will always push you to your true potential. And the vast amount of knowledge they have of Jiu Jitsu is incomparable to any other academy out there.
We love VRMA! My son has been training here for only a few months and has learned so much already. His confidence has improved and his skills have grown significantly. The instructors are top-tier and extremely knowledgeable. We highly recommend VRMA and only wish we had started sooner!

I walked into VRMA in August of 2024 with zero martial arts experience. I was out of shape and at 43 years old, unsure if bjj would be the right fit or if I was too old. I promised myself that I would give it at least 3 months. I lost almost 20lbs in the first 3 months, my mood improved and I gained confidence. Within 6 months my whole mindset shifted - my diet improved, I started some strength training and mobility exercises, I made new friends, my focus at work improved, I felt more energetic.
