One thing that really stood out was his thoughtfulness: even though I removed some of the more expensive landscaping items, he still suggested installing conduit now for future lighting, saving me money later. His crew was clean, respectful, and left no mess behind.

Tom Connolly and his Sustainable Landscapes and Lawn company redesigned my front lawn and gardens, providing the kinds of professional services rarely found today. Dozens of healthy new plants were added, sidewalk lighting, and a complete re-sodding of the front yard. Sustainable Landscapes and Lawn were fantastic to work with for an overhaul of my lawn to incorporate more Florida-native plants. Tom was very accommodating for my preferences of plants and layout in the initial design. He also worked with multiple nurseries to source all the plants on my wish list, which was not always easy to accommodate. He was also onsite with his install team every day and available for questions along the way. His team was very friendly, professional, and worked well together and with Tom to get the job done efficiently. Tom did a great job creating a nice landscape design where a large damaged tree was located in my front yard. The plants are all native to Florida, easy to maintain and have grown beautifully. The area has several types of plants, a hedge, and draws your eye to the area. A Japanese Blueberry tree is the central part of the design. The leaves turn red at certain times of the year and get small blue colored fruit ( but don’t eat it).Sustainable Landscaping & Lawns is professional and I’d definitely recommend them.

Tom is an extremely conscientious professional who is just really one of the nicest guys on earth who knows landscaping and will make sure you are happy every step of the way. From the easy to follow 3D renderings and written proposal to the final installation, Tom was onsite everyday with his reliable crew, working alongside them and walking me through the project as it went along. He also came with a lightscaping and sprinkler contractor who is as professional and value-driven as Tom.
