I was referred to Dr. Balestra at Minars by my Jamaican dermatologist, as I required MOHS surgery on my scalp. The Minars team, led by Jackie Adler, were extremely efficient in ensuring all registration and insurance issues were taken care of before I left Jamaica. A stress free journey in the wake of hurricane Melissa was followed by the simplest of check-in procedures and an on-time start to the procedure. Today, back in Jamaica, stitches were removed revealing a heatlhy scar and skin graft. I would have no hesitation in recommending MINARS and its MOHS surgery team.
Very nice, she listened, Prescribed a necessary medication, and also gave me a lot of tips on how to prevent a reoccurrence Of my sensitive skin issue. She also provided some samples of products that would be gentler on my skin so I could try different ones which is very helpful because I hate ordering a full size bottle of something and then ending up throwing it away a week later.
