“Exceptional Service at Beranek Optometry! My husband and I have both had phenomenal experiences here. He had his exam about a year ago and got two great pairs (regular for 24/7 wear and prescription sunglasses), and following his success, I went for my very first eye exam this past June 2026. Booking was fast, and when I arrived, Madisen at the front desk was incredibly welcoming and efficient. They even have a lovely coffee station! Dr. Mona Patel took care of my exam, and she was fantastic. Since it was my first time, I loved that they offer a modern retinal imaging machine for just $39; it takes a photo that fulfills the same function as dilating drops, so I didn't have to deal with blurred vision. They have a massive selection of frames, and Samantha was wonderful in helping me try on different styles and choose the perfect, most comfortable pair for my new distance prescription. They breakdown the costs and options so clearly, making it easy to determine what your insurance covers and exactly what features are included with your lenses. I am absolutely thrilled with my new glasses! As a young person, I didn't think my vision was that bad, just a little blurry at a distance, but the change is unbelievable. I can see details so clearly now and comfortably watch TV from afar! Everything was ready in two weeks, and when I went to pick them up, Marlen custom-adjusted them to my face perfectly. Phila was also incredibly helpful during my visit, contributing to the top-tier service. While high-quality eyewear can be costly ($1,000 total), they accept insurance, bringing our out-of-pocket cost down to just $300. I highly recommend them! Just a quick tip: since there are several other offices in the plaza, the shared parking lot can get busy, so make sure to arrive with a little extra time to find a spot.
