We worked together for about 20 minutes but could not solve the issue. I asked Mr. Shah if he could keep my laptop and work on it to resolve the problem. He did and called me about an hour later and said the problem is fixed. I picked up my laptop, we tested it and everything was/is working properly. I did not expect this matter to be resolved so quickly. I fully expected to drop my laptop at his shop and perhaps have a call a day or two later.
