Oh my goodness! This is by far the best place I have ever had an eye exam and I have worn glasses since I was 40 and am now 66. Dr Johnson was excellent. His staff is wonderful. I never felt rushed and everyone was very helpful, friendly and polite.
As a retired RN I always tried to treat my patients and their families as I would have liked to be treated. As a customer as well as a patient I often asked myself where is the nice nurse, doctor etc for me. In Gainesville I have found Publix, Kenetic PT and Eyecare Express all to have excellent staff.

I have not been to an optometrist in over 10 years and was searching for an affordable place to go. After calling around, Eyecare Express was the best price for an eye exam. From my initial call to book an appointment to walking out of my first visit today, it was wonderful. Everyone there was so friendly, kind, and helpful! It is small but it feels like a first class experience. There is only one wall of glasses for selection but I think it was just enough, too many to choose from can feel overwhelming.
