My family has used NisAir for our AC needs (repair, replacement, and maintenance) for almost 50 years. They have been reliable and helpful each time we’ve needed service or replacement. My latest cooling crisis of course occurred at a most inopportune time—record heat and my daughter recovering from emergency surgery. Our ten year-old compressor needed a part that was difficult to locate, so we made the decision to replace the system. My A/C unit had been leaking water at the handler. I called NIS AIR and made an appointment. Rick showed up two hours early (after calling to get my approval). He is a fantastic technician. He does not try and push anything on you. Instead he patiently explains everything to you and stays as long as necessary to complete the repair. I was incredibly impressed with him, as I was the last time he was here to tune my system. The leak is all fixed now and my 15 year old Lennox system is once again working efficiently during this incredibly hot summer. I had been having my Lennox system serviced by Service Exoerts and they told me I needed a new condenser. I said it was still under warranty and they should replace it. They told me the warranty would not cover it as it was corroded. they would not replace it. I called the actual warranty company and they advised sending NisAir out to check it out. NisAir came out on 6/21/23 and verified the cool was under warranty and ordered a replacement the same day!!The crew they sent out to actually replace the coil was Bobby Bass along with Daniel on 7/14/23.
