Yesterday was my first time there since the Quigley Group has taken over, and I am very skeptical about it, but will keep an open mind for now. I understand Dr. Auchiche's decision to move to John Hopkins, but (1) will miss him and the way West Coast was run and (2) not happy with the way the change happened. We were not given any warning.I am very happy with Dr. Judd and happy to see he is still there, but with the many issues I've had over the years with my eyes, I always liked and felt comfortable knowing Dr. Auchiche was near by if needed. I personally have issues with the fact that any good Dr. (of any type of practice) has to go on television to blow their own horn, (ie., Quigley and/or Frantz) and you never see him, you only see a Corporation Dr.!This was the reason when I first moved to Florida and was recommended to the Dr. Frantz group that I left them, after a few visits there and never once seeing him I changed to Dr. Auchiche. My first visit was with him, we went over all my past issues and he actually acted as if he cared about me and his patients. So like I said, yesterday went well, and I will keep an open mind for now.

When Dr. Auchiche was here, this center was wonderful. Now that he has gone to a John Hopkins, this practice has been absorbed by Dr. Quigley eyecare, and has gone downhill. It’s very disorganized, you can’t Call this office directly ( some central switchboard answers). Extremely disorganized with laser appointment( was sent to Naples after being told there was no machine in Fort Myers) Also, greatly disappointed in ability to get test results! I had bloodwork done on referral from Dr. Judd. Two weeks later I received a message and called back only to be told the Dr. was busy and I could not be connected to that office. Left message. Never received call back with results. My eye health is too important to stay with this practice.

i am livid. They charged me 150 for an eye exam with insurance. just to be told it wont cover my contact lenses. i also was moved room to room for 2 AND A HALF HOURS! NEVER AGAIN. ill go to lens crafters next time. i left. After being sent to the room to get my lenses i was told they would call me up and i sat for 20 minutes watching the employees who were supposed to be helping me sit there trying glasses on talking to eachother! 150$ and 3 hours later and now i just had to order my contacts online. WHAT A RIPOFF. I literally feel robbed. NEVER AGAIN.

When it was West Coast Eye Care with Dr Aouciche, it was outstanding. Apparently it's was bought by Quigley Eye Care, but no one ever notified Dr Aouciche's patients. We're going to SW FL Eye Care to see how their service is.

Excellent eye care. I would give 5 stars except for the extremely long wait times. Bring a novel and a cooler with lunch...

I love this place. I have no eye issues so my eye exam is no big deal. On the other hand I think Dr. Judd is just great. I think I'll go back in a couple of years That seems to be my routine. I get my eyes checked every two or three years. It takes me almost an hour to drive to their office but it's well worth it.
