I’ve been coming here for five months now, and I seriously love it. The staff is incredible especially Master David and Master Hwang. When I started, I was 19 and lowkey terrified of failing or looking dumb, since I’ve never been athletic or good at sports. Taking this step was huge for me. But they have never made me feel out of place. They’re so supportive, and the adult classes have been amazing. Now at 20, learning self-defense and the art of taekwondo has been such an incredible journey. I’m excited to see how much more I can achieve. I’m always setting new goals, and I leave every class feeling inspired to come back and be better than last time. No matter your age, this is the place if you want to learn taekwondo, build respect, gain confidence, get fit, and learn real self-defense.

United Martial Arts Center is the school we wish we were! The pedigree of the owner is top notch! The instructors are very professional and the students, as a result, are outstanding! Take it from a professional in the industry; if you're in the Fort Meyers area, this is the place to be!

I’m absolutely thrilled to have both of my children enrolled in the after-school and summer programs. The Masters and staff are incredibly attentive, creating a supportive and structured environment for every student. Their program goes beyond just physical activity—it instills discipline, responsibility, and strong fundamentals while emphasizing the importance of being a respectful and engaged member of the community.
Through the past three year's, I’ve seen remarkable growth in my kids’ confidence, sense of responsibility, and self-esteem. I highly recommend this program to any parent looking for a meaningful, character-building activity for their child.

Master David really cares about the kids and takes his time with them. Our son Gavin has learned so much with him not only about Tae Kwon Do but also about self confidence, discipline and respect. This is the best place for a child to learn about martial arts and all the other things a kid needs when they are young!!!

When you enroll your child at United Marital Arts of Fort Myers, what you get is much more than lessons in Tae Kwon Do. They take your child's growth as a happy, healthy, moral human personally. Master David in particular is an incredible role model who inspires confidence and good character.
Oh, yeah, and you'll show up one day to find your eight-year-old daughter is highly proficient with nun chucks which is also pretty cool.

UMA is such a welcoming and wonderful place. They genuinely care for the kids and the staff is so kind and friendly, especially Master David. My son has grown so much since attending, and has had one of his best school year's ever thanks in part to his time at UMA.
