“I got tattooed today by Erin! They did an amazing job! I was going to go for a walk-in on Friday but I decided to call ahead anyway on Wednesday. They wrote down my name and immediately I got a text message from Lacey asking about my inquiries, I told her I wanted a dragon fly stomach tattoo + some vines and she was immediately on board and loved the idea. I ended up going in for an appointment with Erin and from the reviews, and seeing her work, I had no complaints. Definitely lived up to expectations! I went in for my appointment and met both Erin and Lacey, for the whole tattoo everyone in the studio (Including another girl with long black hair, I just didn't get her name) was super supportive and sweet! I've only ever had a tattoo on my upper arm so lower stomach was a move for sure, but it went smooth and she was very reassuring and gave me a break half way through a 3 hour tattoo, and gave me a great price for it (300 for anyone curious, I tipped 20%!). Tickled more than it hurt LOL! I highly recommend seeing Erin for your next tattoo, if not anyone else in the shop, they're all great!“

And most importantly the artist Brian is awesome! I got a tattoo last month and was super impressed, so much so that I already went back for a second one today, and had him redo a 3rd one by someone else that needed to be fixed. All 3 came out great! Great line work, full shading, no blowouts, and no heavy handed scabbing afterwards. Healed within a week, and held the black perfectly. Plus he's a nice, friendly guy that makes you feel relaxed during the whole process.
I dont bother with reviews unless someone truly goes above and beyond and deserves it, and this place definitely does; highly recommended!“

“Recently, I decided to get my first tattoo. I discovered Laid Back Tattoo from an on line search. I was greeted upon entering by. I described what I wanted. My original thought was to have my daughter's birth and death dates placed on inside/outside of my ring finger. said this could be done. He cautioned that: the location I selected would have issues(don't would have to be very small; ink placed in this location could fade more quickly than in a different location and that because of the thinness of skin there would amp up the pain during the procedure. He offered the location: inside my right wrist, about 2" below my palm. I was fine with this alternate location. I was shepherded to a nearby computer. This allowed me to have an accurate depiction of the finished tattoo would look like.I selected the font, font size and color. Once these items were determined, he printed (what reminded me of the media used to imprint text and logo on a T-shirt. Again I had time to determine if this rendering was exactly what I wanted. On to the inking. The tattoo artist pressed the "transfer" against my left wrist; pealed off the backing and began to work. With the application of ink to the (impeccably clean ) inking tool the artist began to apply ink over the transfered and permanently on to the inside of my wrist. Since this was my first tattoo, I was curious about the pain of getting inked.MY "PAIN" WAS MINIMAL. I'd describe the sensation similar to some buzzing device placed against my skin. NO PAIN. I realized we all have different tolerance to pain, but I really couldn't describe the sensation as pain. The process (discussion of: location, font, font size, ink color and tattooing) took approximately 1 hour The owner applied a protective membrane over my tattoo and explained post tattoo procedures, washing, application of additional protective membrane over my tattoo. My experience with owner and tattooist at Laid Back Tattoo was great. I encourage individuals considering acquiring a tattoo (simple or elaborate) to visit this shop. You'll be treated well, get all your questions and concerns addressed and apprised of/ the cost of your ink.“

You can tell he is passionate about what he does and very laid back.. if you are looking for floral, blackwork, anime, or for someone who can come up with some amazing designs from their mind, Peter is it.. currently getting a piece done by sebastian (will update with a photo once finished as it is a larger piece) and he is super thorough and very passionate as well!
