“I got tattooed today by Erin! They did an amazing job! I was going to go for a walk-in on Friday but I decided to call ahead anyway on Wednesday. They wrote down my name and immediately I got a text message from Lacey asking about my inquiries, I told her I wanted a dragon fly stomach tattoo + some vines and she was immediately on board and loved the idea. I ended up going in for an appointment with Erin and from the reviews, and seeing her work, I had no complaints. Definitely lived up to expectations! I went in for my appointment and met both Erin and Lacey, for the whole tattoo everyone in the studio (Including another girl with long black hair, I just didn't get her name) was super supportive and sweet! I've only ever had a tattoo on my upper arm so lower stomach was a move for sure, but it went smooth and she was very reassuring and gave me a break half way through a 3 hour tattoo, and gave me a great price for it (300 for anyone curious, I tipped 20%!). Tickled more than it hurt LOL! I highly recommend seeing Erin for your next tattoo, if not anyone else in the shop, they're all great!“

“I wanted to start off saying that Adam is an amazing tattoo artist and would tell anyone on the fence of getting a tattoo and worrying that it would hurt, be a horrible tattoo, or worried that the overall experience would be bad, to 100% trust this shop and artists with their skin. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

So I recently started a sleeve and this was my first tattoo. I originally called the South of Heaven shop on Fort Myers Beach they stated they were currently booked up for the day but referred me to the Cape Coral location who booked me the same day and they recommended Adam but stated everyone there is top notch and only getting better with time. Adam was extremely knowledgeable and advised me what would look the best for my skin, design and longevity of the tattoo but still allowed me to give a lot of input of what I wanted.

I was really worried that my tattoo would hurt however Adam kept the needles super light on my skin and with him I feel like I could sit through a whole day with no issues. I also wanted to let people know that a lot of the tattoo artists in there are family including Adams Mother. She was so nice to me and even gave me a Bundt cake from NothingBundtCakes for free.

The shop was super clean and everyone there was super nice and easy to talk with and actually cared about me. The design inside is absolutely amazing and everyone has their own areas that show their art and personality.

The process and prices for my tattoo were very reasonable, realistic and affordable. I believe that their prices are very competitive and overall a better deal than other places in the area.

In conclusion, you need to pay this place a visit and at least get a consultation so they can make you a masterpiece on your skin.

“Pleasantly surprised to see the quality I found at Gearhead, here in the Cape. I called last minute on a Tuesday, an hour before closing time, due to a craving for some fresh ink, and Chappy invited me right in, which says a lot to a guy with a ridiculously busy schedule. Pricing is on par with the current market, work and customer service are above average. The storefront is fun, and makes you feel welcome. Chappy was easy to work with, and gave me exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be returning for my next tattoo.“

“Walked in with 2 friends, we all were able to get tattooed within the hour. I asked for a gap filler fish and Carl drew the perfect fit. He also reworked two tattoos I got years back (from a different shop/artist) that I was previously unhappy with.

They had loads of amazing flash to choose from as well. Pricing was super reasonable, especially for the level of skill these artists have. Everyone was super welcoming and accommodating. I couldn’t recommend this shop more, and will definitely make the trip back when I’m in Florida next!

The shop is large, clean, and a great environment, nicest one ive seen, and ive seen alot.
And most importantly the artist Brian is awesome! I got a tattoo last month and was super impressed, so much so that I already went back for a second one today, and had him redo a 3rd one by someone else that needed to be fixed. All 3 came out great! Great line work, full shading, no blowouts, and no heavy handed scabbing afterwards. Healed within a week, and held the black perfectly. Plus he's a nice, friendly guy that makes you feel relaxed during the whole process.
I dont bother with reviews unless someone truly goes above and beyond and deserves it, and this place definitely does; highly recommended!“
