⚠️ Worst Flooring Experience Ever – Avoid at All Costs! ⚠️ I purchased Stainmaster carpet through Lowe’s in Oldsmar, who subcontracted the job to Floor Interior Services—and it turned into a nightmare. Before installation, I repainted my master bedroom baseboards so they’d be perfect with my new carpet. When the installer was “finished,” I walked in to find about 90% of my baseboards covered in black scuff marks and gouged with dents from his carpet kicker. When I sent photos to Floor Interior Services, they lied—claiming the damage was already there. Their so-called “before” photos were blurry, low-quality, and completely useless for comparison. One bedroom took them 4.5 hours to carpet, and I’m left with damaged trim they refuse to acknowledge or fix. Lowe’s backs them up, so if you buy flooring through Lowe’s, you’re risking your home with this company. My advice: DO NOT hire Floor Interior Services. If you buy flooring through Lowe’s, demand a different installer. If you’re stuck with them, take crystal-clear, close-up photos of every inch of your trim and baseboards with the installer present before they start. They damage your home, deny it, and leave you with the repairs. I will never use this company—or Lowe’s for flooring—again.
I couldn't imagine worse customer service! I bought carpet through Lowes and they contracted with this company. I have been told 4 different days this week that my carpet would be installed, I still don't have it! After multiple times rearranging my schedule I am only informed that they aren't coming because I texted someone after the fact. Don't bother calling the corporate number they won't answer or return calls. I am in sales and can't fathom treating a customer like this! Use caution when buying through Lowe's Home Improvement as you are held hostage by whatever installer they contract with.
This company was subcontracted by Lowe's Installation Services to subcontract floor installers to install sheet vinyl flooring in my parents' garage in October of 2023. My parents had paid an extra disconnect/reconnect fee, to have the installers disconnect their dryer, which was sitting on top of the existing flooring, perform the installation and then reconnect the dryer. The installers actually just ripped the dryer out of the wall, causing damage to the dryer vent hose. Additionally, there is a sink attached to the floor and the wall, in the space they were working in and they tried to lift it, resulting in the pipe and its connection to the sink being damaged, causing the sink to leak. Once the floor was fully installed, we noticed tons of bubbles all throughout the flooring, but were told that it needed to settle. After days of it not settling, we called Floor Interior Services back and told them there was something wrong. They sent out the same crew who installed it, to review their own work. One of the installers tried to hand roll out the bubbles with a tiny hand roller, while another one called around to get advice on what could be the issue, only to come to the conclusion that they used the wrong glue. It took three and a half months of playing weekly e-mail and phone tag with Lowe's Installation Services, Floor Interior Services and the Operations Manager at the Lowe's store, before we could finally get refunded for the repairs necessary and a portion of the installation fee, since we will need to have the floor replaced much sooner than should be necessary. Eric Littlejohn, with Floor Interior Services, claims this has been addressed, management has been changed and "people were fired," to prevent this from happening to other customers, since our installation, but I will never trust this company to do anything on my parents' home, again.
