“First Dr. Wendland was the only veterinarian that picked up my dog’s heart murmur when she was 2 yo. But i never thought much about it until my dog started collapsing on the slightest exertion. Given the gravity of her condition, i called the UofF Veterinary Hospital but they said it would be 4 months before she could be seen so i took her back to Dr. Wendland who immediately took X-rays explaining the X-rays to me and comparing the X-rays to when she was 2 nothing looked concerning. So then Shelton’s did an EKG and the problem was clear. They also sent her blood work off to a lab. Dr. Wendland next recommended a cardiologist and assisted with getting an appointment for my dog. All this was done in one appointment. Dr. Wendland was professional, efficient, and caring. Yes it’s expensive but at least we got answers and a way to move forward. I also highly recommend the staff, many have been there a long time.“

“Going to the Shelton clinic is like stepping back in time! The vintage building sets the scene but it's the genuine, caring people there who really seal the deal! Everyone I encountered was kind, courteous and very concerned for the rescue dog I brought in, who had two different types of gut worms and was very emaciated. Just two days after our visit and starting the meds, you can tell Lily feels much better already!“

Shores was able to quickly assess my dog and change the regimen to better fit his needs. We are very happy with this place and only wish it was open every day!“

“I would give them more stars if I could. My cat wasn’t in a life or death situation but more of an extreme dental pain and I took her in around 10pm one night. All the staff was so caring and kind to everyone there. The vet that saw my kitty was so kind and gentle. I wish I remembered her name but she was great. “I take care of a colony of 13 cats and one of the cats became very ill and it was on a Sunday and there was no places open in Flagler County. So I ended at Sarvec. I was super emotional because the cat had to be put down and the staff at this Clinic couldn't have been kinder to me and treated me like family. They were even sympathetic to my financial situation. I've been to a lot of veterinarian clinics in the past 10 years and have never ever experienced such compassion and caring as I did this past Sunday and I will never forget this experience, thank you so much to the staff. “Today we needed euthanasia services for our 20 year old cat, she had been failing for the last year, but last night she suffered a cat attack from a neighborhood cat while she slept on our enclosed back porch. Not only did this office take us in right away but they treated us with such empathy and care. Our cat was treated with such care that she slipped away while she napped in our arms.
