Dan from Scotty’s showed up and we went over what he was going to do. I pointed out some stains, and he pre-treated those and some very obvious high traffic areas.
My carpets went down seven years ago and have never been professionally cleaned. Once I started moving stuff around I was amazed at just how dirty some areas had gotten. Once Dan got finished I was amazed at just how clean the carpets had become.
The stains and the high traffic areas were as clean as the areas under the tables and beds! That’s because Dan really took his time and concentrated on the right areas.
I have a two bedroom condo and I only asked him to do one of the bedrooms but it still took him a long time. And the price I was quoted was way below what I was expecting to pay (seriously!).
So, overall I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from Dan, the results of that service, and the value for my money I got from Scotty’s Carpet Care.

First Dr. Wendland was the only veterinarian that picked up my dog’s heart murmur when she was 2 yo. But i never thought much about it until my dog started collapsing on the slightest exertion. Given the gravity of her condition, i called the UofF Veterinary Hospital but they said it would be 4 months before she could be seen so i took her back to Dr. Wendland who immediately took X-rays explaining the X-rays to me and comparing the X-rays to when she was 2 nothing looked concerning. So then Shelton’s did an EKG and the problem was clear. They also sent her blood work off to a lab. Dr. Wendland next recommended a cardiologist and assisted with getting an appointment for my dog. All this was done in one appointment. Dr. Wendland was professional, efficient, and caring. Yes it’s expensive but at least we got answers and a way to move forward. I also highly recommend the staff, many have been there a long time.
Great experience considering the dog I rescued had not seen a vet since she was 4-6 weeks old. They handled her nervous excitement very well, were very gentle and patient with Phoebe. They explained everything and gave me options without forcing treatment not needed which is a big win in my book. My baby got all the treatment she needed in a comforting environment. They even called Monday (we were seen on Saturday, another win for me) to follow up on how she was doing. Very pleased?
