Maddie, for literally holding me while I sobbed into her chest during my contractions that wouldn’t stop as I got my epidural. She helped keep me calm while I waited for my husband to rush back to the hospital. She encouraged me to push the right way when I felt like quitting. She was there for me in my darkest and most painful hour and I’m so grateful for her help.
Courtney, for calming me down when I didn’t think I could endure through the pain, holding my hair back and giving me positive words when I wanted to give up. Her presence and smile were so comforting. She’s a literal angel.
Brooke, for her sweet and calm demeanor and chatting with me in the middle of the night feedings while also caring for my baby. She made me feel so comfortable and cared for.
Brandie, she was exactly what I needed as my night shift nurse on the 2nd and hardest night. I’m a 5th time mom and all I wanted that night was to sleep and figure things out with my baby alone. I didn’t even tell her that but I think her nurse intuition knew that. She left me with my baby all night without interruption, and offered to take my baby to the nurses station to allow me to rest when I needed it.
And Kristen, who quickly felt like an old friend. Laughing, crying, and caring for me at all hours of the night. She even went out of her way to care for my husband and that meant the world. Her presence lit up the room and made the long hospital nights feel like home. She sat on my bed and just chatted with me, felt like a sister when my own sister and mom couldn’t be there 🥺
Thank you to these wonderful earthly angels who made my last labor a wonderful and memorable experience. You will always be a positive light in my last birth experience. Love you ladies 💕”
