From out of town. Needed a cut so went to a big chain group. Stylist proceeded to do an unbelievably bad job. Falls under you get what you paid for.Relative told me about Mankind so I booked a time with Rafael since his availability worked with mine. Told him my problem (which he could obviously see). We worked through fixing the situation and he did such a great job I had to FaceTime my wife back in Baltimore. She was blown away since I now had a different look and was smiling ear to ear. The crazy part is that the cost was not that much more than the bad haircut.Thanks Rafael-Angel- Baltimore

Same stylist, new hair place! Someone bought my former hair place and their good service just disappeared. Luckily, the stylist at that place, Yuly, ended up here. I found that out after I called her right after walking out from the other place. I strolled over here and was warmly greeted by the owner! Nice, airy, clean place. I don't play pool, but they have a pool table! Anyway, Yuly gave me my usual amazing service and great cut. Yes, service counts and I value that. Efficiency does as well. If the appointment is at 10 am, I expect to be seated at 10 am. Not 10:30 or "in ten to fifteen minutes" after arriving on time. But that's just me.

Joe is the man and ManKind is the place to go! I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and was transformed from "slightly homeless guy" (according to my beloved) to "wow, you look hot and ten years younger!" ?Apparently my wife was originally drawn to this place by Joe and his Sinatra like crooning! While I have not yet had the pleasure of hearing my new friend sing, he says he's a better singer than a barber ?! If this statement is true, he must be an amazing singer!Miami can be a frenetic and fast paced place, especially for transplants from the Midwest like us, but we felt welcomed and at home at ManKind.
