I suffered deeply with stage four sarcoidosis which progressed to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). I was hospitalized eighteen times in three years, mostly with flare ups and pneumonia. For me, the chronic widespread pain takes my breath away more than the disease itself. At times the pain is so severe I find it difficult to do anything. I knocked a bridge out in December. I called and was told what time to come in to avoid the wait. I went in at that time and waited for about 45 minutes until I was seen. The place was also dirty. There were water damage and cracks. I also saw bugs on the floor and on the tray that housed dental tools. The dentist was rude and not nice. They took my insurance and I paid whatever they asked me to. Now, 6 months later, I received a bill, which I wouldn’t care about, except it had a statement date of 5/28 and a due date of 6/12.
