It took me going to four different places after moving from Denver (even one in South Tampa) before I found Flok. And after one visit and ten years later, I have never looked back. Isuf is my hair stylist. He is insanely talented at what he does. My friend goes to him, my sister flies down from Boston to go to him, and both my mother and daughter are now Flok loyalists. They're just above and beyond anyone else in the area. DO NOT GO OFF THEIR 3.6 AS THAT WAS A TIK TOK SPAMMER. And I'm only mentioning this as I was taken aback after I saw that number recently because I knew it wasn't an honest reflection of this business and their professionalism. Look no further than Flok by Bekim. You will not be disappointed. They are AMAZING!“

I brought up different concerns like not wanting to have high upkeep hair and she made multiple recommendations along with education on things like high pigment color depositing toners, at home styling tips, etc. I never feel rushed, they have price transparency on the website when you book and the location of the salon is convenient with multiple parking spots right in front of its door. I have naturally darker hair but a few years ago I had bleached my hair (somewhere else) then about a year after that I put black box dye on my hair. “Met CHRISTINA WATSON (Loft 23) for the first time and this was literal THERAPY for me. I'm a curly-haired man in my early 30s who's just recently started experiencing the horrors of male pattern hair loss and losing the long, thick curls in the front has been so painful. I've been terrified of getting a cut and the result was a head of hair that desperately needed a one.

As SOON as I walked into the salon, Chris was there to greet me incredibly warmly and I felt immediately at ease. I told her my story and concerns and hopes and everything and she gave me tons of great advice and kind words and just really made me feel like things were going to be OK, which I really needed to hear. I cannot stress how above and beyond she went - I've never had a hair stylist that felt like she cared so very much, I really appreciated it.

The cut felt great, she has experience working with curly hair, and I could tell. My scalp and hair felt SO good, the entire experience was therapeutic both emotionally and physically. She understood the importance of how to shape the hair to fit the shape of the head and the result was a cut that made me feel SO much lighter without losing the volume that I'm trying to hold onto. I feel like I look younger too!!! Which was a very nice surprise, haha. Also, she even gave me a bottle of styling product for free!!! Such kindness and generosity.

She is such a sweetheart and the kindest person, legitimately the best haircut experience I've ever had.
