DO NOT USE TARPON AIR CONDITIONING, you have been warned. They installed my unit less than 2-years ago and it is leaking coolant. They came out and charged me nearly $400 to recharge the system but without repairing the leak. In fact, I was told to take pictures of my thermostat and send them in (I guess for amusment purposes?). They refuse to pick up the phone, return a call, or respond to text and email (over 20 attempts at contacting them). At this point, I have no choice but to hire a new company and pay again for a leaky system under 2-years old. This company will leave you mad as hell and sweating. DO NOT USE TARPON AIR CONDITIONING. Tarpon Air installed my unit less than 2-years ago. I paid over $6,400 for this 2.5-ton AC Unit and it leaks coolant. They came out initially and decided to charge me nearly $400 to refill the coolant and they did so without indicating where the coolant leaked from and made no attempt to find out. I asked them to find the leak and here it is over a month later and so many unanswered phone calls, texts, and emails that I can't count them. They are useless and don't stand by their equipment and certainly do not repair it. I now have to pay for a completely different company to come and do it all over again.
