I called Surfside Heating and Cooling based on a recommendation from a friend. Brian took my call and spent time on the phone explaining things while making my appointment. Dan came for my service call and was absolutely great. He was very professional and knowledgeable and explained everything very thoroughly. My system was back up and running and Dan spent additional time to explain to me their maintenance program and its benefits which I will definitely be signing up. I can't say enough good things from my initial call, to receiving an update the morning of my appointment, and then the service that Dan provided. great, honest, and professional company! they showed up within the hour of calling to come and look at the issue. i had them come out and install a whole new ac unit for my property. the whole crew was professional, respectful, and worked in a timely manner. highly recommend if your looking for any ac work to be done. they have been working with my family for years now.
I should have left a positive review a year ago when Surfside installed our new HVAC system, so this is a bit overdue.
When it was time to replace the unit, I did what I always do and got 3+ quotes to compare value and proposal strength. I actually ended up getting more because there was such a massive gap in what different companies were recommending.
Surfside took a completely different approach. The owner asked thoughtful questions, educated me on the market shifts (new refrigerant standards in 2025 and rising equipment costs), reviewed my existing system, and then made a clear, practical recommendation.
