Pro Files Hair Nail & Skin is a salon where customers are made to feel welcome and valued, with staff treating them like family. Dena, a skilled and creative nail technician, provides excellent service. However, it can be difficult to secure a walk-in appointment as the salon is often fully booked. Jeannie Blattner, a long-time client, highly recommends Dena.
I got a full set of acrylics and they are amazing! Exactly what I wanted. I really like that they built out the nail instead of using tips. My technician was Abby and she did an excellent job. Even more important, the staff are considerate and attentive. My mom uses a wheelchair and has limited hand mobility and they do the absolute most to ensure she has a killer set and is comfortable.
I've been going here for a couple of years, but I have had manicures and pedicures on and off from other salons for the last 20 years. Those that are new to the salon, know ahead of time that their methods are different from other salons. They don't have the giant massage chairs or vibrating foot spas like some nail salons. Also, they don't soak hands or do major cuticle trimming, but they said it's to prevent infections and for acrylics to last longer. I never preferred cuticle trimming because multiple nail techs over the years said to me that once you trim them, they grow faster and you have to keep trimming them forever. I have no idea why this post is in my fiancé’s name. My name is Jeannie Blattner, and I have been a client of Dena’s for years. She is the best nail tech ever, and very knowledgeable and creative. I look forward to seeing her every time I go to the salon! Ask for her if you want something new and/or different. You won’t be disappointed!!!
