I had Lewis from Always Affordable Electric come out to diagnose electrical issues on my dock, and I couldn't be happier with the experience.
After having a previous electrician take money for parts and never come back, I was understandably frustrated and skeptical. Lewis was the second electrician to look at the problem, and from the start he was professional, knowledgeable, and honest.
What really impressed me was his dedication to finding the actual problem. He didn't take shortcuts or make assumptions. He literally crawled under my muddy, wet dock to inspect the wiring and diagnose the issue the right way. Many people would have taken the easy route, but Lewis put in the effort to thoroughly troubleshoot everything and explain what he found.
Given the condition of the wiring, he could have easily told me it wasn't fixable. Instead, he carefully diagnosed the issues, explained my options, and got everything working properly. Now all of the power and lights on the dock are working again.
Lewis is smart, hardworking, and takes pride in doing things the right way. After my previous experience, it was refreshing to find someone who was honest, dependable, and genuinely focused on solving the problem.

“My family and I have been using Kirkwood for years. They’ve done the electrical work for our homes after the flooding in Ian, Helene and Milton.

I had an emergency shut off today by LCEC and I immediately called Kirkwood Electric. Susanna (I’m sorry if this is incorrect), answered and was able to assist me and was able to bear with me in my frantic state of thought. She said she would get with Ashley and see how soon they can get techs out to me and understood I was worried about my animals.

I received a call back from Ashley telling me they had some techs free up and they would be at my house shortly. All this within an hour. The techs are here now doing their diagnostics. Words cannot express how grateful I am with their customer service. Having no power is stressful enough, but having to worry about hot animals in the June heat on top of that is a whole other issue. Ashley walked me through the emergency permitting process and calmed my nerves. Francisco and his team are here now and also explained to me the issues and that they would be pulling an emergency permit and my power reconnected with LCEC no problem. Immediate relief.
