I originally left a positive review after my visit due to a summer promotion and a thorough consultation. However, after my experience, I will not be returning to this salon.

I had a friendly rapport with one of the stylists, which included sharing outfit inspiration and fashion-related conversation. However, the tone later shifted into unsolicited personal messages that became inappropriate and crossed professional boundaries. This made me very uncomfortable to visit the salon again.

Separately, during my makeup appointment, I specifically requested no lash extensions. The makeup artist applied them anyway based on her preference and then trimmed them. Afterward, I noticed a visible difference in my natural lashes between my left and right eye, including what appears to be a blunt cut. When I raised the concern, I was told my lashes “naturally grow that way.”

Despite my concerns, I was charged full price for the service. I would like to add that she did very good work in makeup technique and I would go back to her for a wedding or special event makeup as long as she didn’t use scissors again..

Overall, I felt my preferences and boundaries were not respected during my experience.

I love Blow Zone Rose! Omer did an amazing job with my hair ! It was such a fun artistic creative hair updo ! Also, Deniz did a fabulous job doing my makeup! I feel like a queen! Thanks so much for taking such great care of me ! What I love most about BZR is that they are a FULL SERVICE HAIR and MAKEUP bar !! I can even get hair cut, highlights, and extensions for everyday glam! I’m greeted with a warm smile and called by my name! As a boca native, BZR is a second home ! They are very professional, courteous, and personable!!

I am writing on behalf of my best friend, who today had a very disappointing experience at Blowzonerosé. As a business owner myself, I found this situation particularly upsetting and concerning. She was originally quoted $350 for a full set of highlights when booking her appointment. While she was happy with how her hair coloring turned out, she was shocked at checkout when the total came to nearly $700.

At no point during the service was she informed that the price would increase or that additional charges were being added. Transparency is extremely important, especially for services at this price point. If her hair required extra product or additional services, this should have been clearly communicated beforehand so she could make an informed decision.

She did speak with the owner, but unfortunately, the situation was not resolved in a way that felt fair given the original quote. Although the quality of the hair coloring itself was good, the lack of upfront pricing and clear communication left a very negative impression.

This feedback is not intended to harm the business; rather, it is meant to highlight a practice that needs improvement. Clear communication and transparency are essential to avoid giving customers the impression that they are being taken advantage of.

As someone close to her, and as a business owner, I believe it is important to share this experience so other customers are aware. I would strongly recommend that future clients ask for a detailed breakdown and confirm pricing before services begin to avoid unexpected surprises.

Hakan did a fabulous job creating a style for my face shape. I will definitely be seeing him again in the near future!!
