So, it was once again time for my Sadie-Girl's yearly wellness exam and shots. And once again, I could not be happier with the superb service I received at Sandalfoot Animal Clinic. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who desires a professional clinician, friendly staff, and reasonable rates. Thanks again to all of you for taking care of my Sadie-Girl.

Took my cockatiel there today with a blood feather. The examiner, without giving anything for the pain he’s about to induce, stated pulling at and snipping her feather. It took about 9 tries of him yanking at my poor bird and her screaming out in pain, until the feather was removed. No examination was done, he just started pulling at her already sore feather. My husband immediately asked for pain medicine for her (meloxicam) and they told him to just give her half of an adult aspirin. That much aspirin for a small bird is extremely dangerous and deadly. We asked again for the meloxicam prescription, and they said they would call us in an hour, it is the end of the day and we received no notification whatsoever. Now my poor bird is in immense pain, she’s refusing to eat, and now we know we cannot trust this place. $200 spent for some hack to mutilate my daughter.

Sandalfoot offers a free check up for cat (maybe dogs too) adopted from the Broward Cty. Humane Society. Their office is a little far from where I live, but I am so glad I decided to go. The doctor and the staff are absolutely wonderful! Although I have been using the same Vet for almost 20 years, I’m thinking about switching over to Sandalfoot, despite the distance (which truthfully is only about 30 minutes).

Dr. Watnick is a fabulous veterinarian, and the clinic is great too. Dr. Watnick is very smart, patient and kind. He helped my dog quickly recover from an allergic reaction. He has also routinely cared for her and answered all of my questions with clear and compassionate explanations. I would definitely recommend this clinic!

we adopted a couple of cats and we took them here because they work with the Florida Humane Society. They were good vets and very professional and handled everything. One of the kittens had worms so we had to get treatment and they handled all that well. Really nice people that work there as well.
