This company is extremely professional. Our pergola was built on timeline they gave us and are super responsive to questions and phone calls. I’d recommend Happy House to everyone and already have. Great local company.
About Happy House Outdoor Living
Happy House Outdoor Living is a professional and responsive local company, recognized as leaders and the premier supplier of pergolas and exclusive shade structures with louvered roof systems. They serve luxury residential, commercial, and architectural design applications.
The company is noted for its professional service, with crews that work efficiently and turn up when scheduled. They are cooperative and open to incorporating customer suggestions for a better final product. Many projects are completed on the given timeline.
Their after-job-done-service is described as excellent. They address issues, such as water leaks where a pergola connects to a house, by sending a professional crew to re-caulk the area promptly. The workmanship of these crews is often amazing, leaving customers beyond happy.
However, some projects experienced significant delays, partly due to external factors like the pandemic. There have been instances of communication issues, including unprofessional responses and stopped phone calls over reported problems. Some customers reported workmanship issues, such as a structure installed flat instead of pitched for drainage, leading to water pooling, potential rust, and a voided warranty if light fixtures are installed later. Payment terms typically involve deposits and installments tied to project milestones.
Overall, they are a company that many would recommend, with excellent service when issues are addressed, though some customers have experienced challenges with specific projects and communication.

We had Happy House construct a Pergola in our back yard, connected to our house. The project was completed almost a year ago, albeit delayed quite a bit due to the pandemic. However, when the materials did arrive, Happy House went about the construction in a very professional way.The workers turned up when they said they would and went about the job in an efficient way. The "Supervisor" of the workers was very cooperative and opento incorporate our last minute suggestions, for a better final product. Two weeks ago, we found some water dripping from where the Pergola connects to the house wall. We took some photos and sent them to HH and requested that the leaks be attended… read full review

UPDATE: their crew did came out after after 6 months of back and forth. But the two guys that came were very profesional, did an amazing job and I’m beyond happy with their work over all. I give them 4 stars because I’m willing share part of the blame, for not inspecting while the work was in progress.I hired them to do a 40’ by 13’ pergola, and a 40’ by 3’ pad to extend an existing 40’ by 10’ pad. The contract stipulated that I needed to pay 50% deposit upfront, 40% upon delivery of materials, and 10% when the project was completed. During this negotiation I was told they don’t install light fixtures with their pergola, and if you do after the fact… read full review
