It’s as good as the prior Google reviews say. I did arrive when they opened so the wait was minimal. The waiting room as well as the exam rooms were spotless. The medical assistant was wonderful as was the PA I saw. They were thorough, made a proper diagnosis, and I even got a Valentine’s Day card when leaving, a nice touch for the patients.
The treatment I got from PA Diamond for my symptoms, (bad cough, sore throat, runny nose, slight fever) were exactly the right medications for me because I am allergic to many medications, so that went very well.
What, unfortunately, did not go well, to the point that I was on the verge of tears is that the people at the desk could not "find" my insurance. Before I went to the Baptist Urgent Care Express on Lyons Rd. I called my health insurance (Harvard Pilgrim Access America under United Health) to confirm that this clinic IS in their network and they assured me that IT IS. First time there since I just joined Medicare United Health.
Very impressed by the clean and nice waiting area with coffee and cold drinks but most of all the lovely attention at the front desk.
Wait time was short although I was a walk-in , vitals were taken then a wonderful young lady PA took care of me. I felt good knowing she was asking all the right questions.
I would definitely recommend the Baptist Health Urgent Care; they have state of the art equipment and specialists right there. I left happy and re-assured
