My father was at this location for rehab for 8 weeks last year. The therapy department was spectacular, especially June & Larry. He can now walk on his own and take care of his needs by himself. We were at another facility a few years ago, and the food was great. Much better than that other place. Also he said that the Activities Director, Stacey, was always planning things to help them pass the time, and make it feel like a home, and not a hospital, and she dressed up for holidays and her football teams. OMG this was my second time at Avante Boca. When I knew I was being transferred to rehab I was given a choice of facilities and I chose them. Why? Because it felt like going home. The focus of this visit was physical therapy and getting back walking after a long period of illnesses and hospitalizations. Laurence and Jun from rehab who were my therapists for BOTH admissions... how can I thank you for your attention, dedication, and skills? Some humor from Laurence was day brightening and Jun's upbeat attitude always motivates. The facility itself does have issues at time and they are fixed in a timely matter for the most part but if you want service around here and you want to be treated nicely you have to treat the people that are serving you the way you want to be treated so if you give them a hard time they come back the same way the review Lori except for the treat people right you'll be treated right in return it is a good place to stay the rooms are not sufficient according to some people but I think they're fine do under others even have them doing to you that's all I have to say thank you Avante. , Terry Filhart
