Dr. Kate and Jessica in the rehab department at Windcrest Animal Hospital are AMAZING. My GSD Luna was diagnosed with DM (Degenerative Myopathy) which is basically Lou Gehrig’s disease for dogs. There is no cure or surgery however the longer you keep your furbaby walking the slower the progression of the disease. When Luna was diagnosed it was recommended that we try Aqua therapy and acupuncture. We started Aqua therapy in January 2024 and met Dr. Kate and Jessica. We recently brought our dog here because she was vomiting blood. The people at this vet were extraordinary. They brought blankets in every time we needed them, they held and pet our dog. They spoke to us and her with so much compassion and empathy and they treated her like a human. You would never believe how kind they were. They gave us several different options and recommendations on how to proceed. In the end we had to make the very difficult decision to put our dog down because she had so many other pre-existing conditions on top of her current problem. It was overwhelming and heartbreaking but the doctors and techs here were so gentle and loving with our dog... read full review

I am a life long client of Windcrest and would not trust my pets to anyone else. Last Friday, I brought my 15 year old kitty in for a sick appointment because she was not eating and very lethargic. Dr Namey did an exam on her and discovered she had a large mass in her abdomen. After an ultrasound and x-ray, she confirmed that my sweet Matilda had enlarged spleen, liver, lymph nodes and fluid in her lungs and around her abdomen. Devastating news. It was cancer. My kitty was jaundiced as well. Dr Namey was very compassionate, as she ALWAYS is with me, and explained everything in detail.
