Wertz and Co. is a great group of people - with old-fashioned quality workmanship and customer service. Had to have my (leaning) chimney torn down and rebuilt. Robin came out, on time, and presented me with my options - told me what he thought would be the best way to proceed. He actually saved me quite a lot of money by telling me that only the top two-thirds of the chimney needed to be taken down - the bottom third was okay and could remain intact. A huge savings ! This service was for a chimney liner. From the point of where service begins with that initial phone call, Terry was extremely responsive, professional, friendly, informative, and helpful...to the point of where the service was provided by Frasier and Keenan (I hope I got the spelling right) who were unbelievably friendly, courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and informative. They were a few minutes early, introduced themselves, explained what needed to be done and after the quote was approved they began work, which was completed efficiently and clean. I had a gas fireplace insert installed yesterday, replacing my rusty 25 year old one.
I highly recommended this firm.
The installers, Dave and Steve, were utmost professional : very tidy, performed very clean and neat work, explained how the fireplace worked with the remote, and left the home spotless. They also finished the job ahead of schedule. They were also not annoyed with my thousand questions about the new fireplace !!!
The picture I leave is the new fireplace all fired up.
Note: I still have to tile the area around the fireplace. They would have done that also, but I love to tile !
