Writing this as I’m trapped in their parking lot. Third time I’ve been here and had their trucks blocking the entire parking lot during business hours not letting anyone out. I occasionally stop by despite their extremely high prices for most things. Occasionally you will see a good deal. There doesn’t seem to be any organization in their display layout or with employees overall. Plants are scattered and unlabeled half the time making it incredibly hard to shop here. I want to like this store but it leaves me with nothing to like other than the very occasional cool find.

I just got my Christmas tree there yesterday and I absolutely love it! They have so many different trees to choose from (types, sizes, prices). Also they everything you need for the Christmas decoration as well. It made my life so much easier since it was just one stop and I've got everything I needed!
Amazing quality, good prices, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Can't thank enough the owner Jay who helped me chosing the right tree!
I will be back and absolutely recommend this place to everyone who needs a bit of magic and beauty in their life!!

Last week I went to Leon’s Garden World to buy some plants which would add color to my garden and be immune to rabbits. I wound up leaving with $300+ of plants and planting supplies. I followed Jay’s instruction carefully - water every day in pots and after planting water twice per week until the weather turns to freezing and the plants go dormant. About one week later the 3 black eyed Susan’s look dying or dead and three others look like they are going too. I called the store this morning and a woman answered. I cloud barely get a word in edgewise because she just kept talking over me. I told her I wanted to talk to Jay, who told me he was the owner. She finally let me talk and I told her about the black eyed Susan’s. she told me come in the afternoon and I could then see Jay. She said that she would replace the Susan’s because hers at the store were dying too. I go down in the afternoon and was told by someone else the Jay was not there! She said I should call him. I just walked out. Probably half my money down the drain in a week. So far. Thanks Leon’s Garden World

They know plants! I came in with specific varieties and they knew what I was talking about. I also shared how my perennial plant didn't come back this year and appreciated the comment that it wasnt my fault. We endured a very harsh winter last year! I will be back for sure and hope to learn more.

I'm an orientation and mobility (O&M) specialist—I teach people who are blind or visually impaired how to travel independently. I recently brought one of my totally blind students to Leon’s Garden World on Kirkwood Highway to buy a cactus as part of a real-world training lesson.
The staff couldn’t have been more supportive. They treated my student with respect, offered assistance appropriately, and helped create a learning environment that was both empowering and inclusive. Bella, the cashier, deserves special recognition—she was professional, kind, and spoke directly to my student with warmth and patience.
This kind of thoughtful service is rare and deeply appreciated. Leon’s Garden World is more than just a great place for plants—it’s a place where everyone is welcome.

Wonderful place! My fiancé and I went to this shop with no idea what we were doing and the staff were incredibly helpful! Eileen and Jay were super knowledgeable and kind. They helped us pick out exactly what we need for our tricky garden. Wonderful local business with great prices! Would recommend to anyone!!

Hey Jay. Wondering when you are going to pay me for services we provided your company for snow removal invoice from 1/2024 and 2/2024. You know where to find me and you know what invoice I am referring to. It was sent via email,voice mail and text to your personal cell phone over 5 times each with no response at all. You got paid and we didn’t. Just looking for some sort of communication here. I don’t work for free.

IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR PLANTS, GO HERE!!! Not only are the staff so welcoming and helpful, but they also have an incredible variety of rare indoor and outdoor plants. They care a lot about the quality and processing of their plants, checking for pests and removing dead or decaying leaves. Very reasonably priced too! I'm getting all my plants here from now on <3
