About ChristianaCare Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center
The ChristianaCare Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine Center provides technically advanced, surgical and non-surgical outpatient care to heal wounds that resist conventional therapy. Their capabilities include hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Patients have praised the center's skilled medical team, who worked diligently to save limbs from amputation. One patient, who had lost toes due to a previous accident, underwent multiple procedures to restore blood flow and save their foot. The patient expressed gratitude for the "heart felt compassionate team" who helped them regain the ability to walk. However, some patients have noted long wait times before seeing the doctor, with one reporting a nearly 100-minute delay. Overall, the center is recognized for its high-quality care and dedication to helping patients overcome complex wound-related issues.
