It was 7 pm and my daughter was sick. I googled pediatric urgent care near me and this was the first suggestion. It said there was no wait for walk ins which was true! The staff was very nice and welcoming. My daughter (20 months old) screams at the sight of doctors and nurses and screams anytime she has to be examined. The staff was very understanding of this fear and did not make us feel bad for her crying or screaming (which had previous happened at a different non pediatric urgent care). Though they did not take our insurance - I didn’t verify that when I was searching- the cash price for being see was reasonable at $175 compared to other urgent cares.
Everything was quick and easy, from making an appointment to them sending in the prescription to the pharmacy. The staff was friendly, caring, knowledgeable and I felt heard. We worked together for a care plan. They even offered my son a popsicle for his sore throat and medicine in the office so we didn’t have to wait until the next day. Thank you!
Taking my child to PM Pediatrics is a great option when I can’t get a quick visit to see our pcp. They are quick, professional and facility is clean. They will be my #1 choice as long as I need pediatric urgent care!
