1708 Lovering Ave, Wilmington“This gym is truly great. I am in town for work periodically and they welcome me immediately like I have been there for years. Stephen Plyler, the head instructor, is a gifted teacher and he is so attentive to his students. It’s clear that he’s vested and cares a great deal for everyone in class - even a guest like me. He trains with me regularly and has pulled me aside to work with me on my technique. His knowledge, movement and technique are exceptional. I travel to a lot of gyms and this is one of my favorites. BJJ aside, the culture and community he has cultivated is outstanding.“
“Excellent gym; everyome seemed competitive with a good attitude. The instructor did a really good job breaking down techniques.“
“Mr. Josh is amazing. His kindness, patience and fun attitude always brightens each class. My son looks forward to every class and can’t wait to work with Mr. Josh!“
“Master Godwin is a legend! The classes here at KMAI teach focus and discipline, all while building your confidence! Plus it's fun! I would highly recommend anyone interested to give it a try.“

3011 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont“This little Dojo on Philly Pike has been a real blessing for this community. A boot-strap, no plastic, no filler school that teaches kids and adults the values of Bushido through the art of Karate. (Bushido philosophy is akin to western Stoic values that highlight self-control and the service to others as virtues). We enrolled- our now 9 yr old- less than a year ago, and have watched him grow physically, mentally and incrementally disciplined with the help of the Shihan Graves, Senpei Melissa, Sensei Caputo, John and other student leaders. **Everyone is welcome here regardless of race, age, gender or identity. This Dojo has Heart.“
“Great family atmosphere, amazing instructors and programs! Definitely the best place for kids and adults to learn Tae Kwon Do in the area!!!!“
“This place is extremely family, friendly, and very very supportive. And they truly cater to the students needs and how they learn. Definitely challenge you to be your best and inspire you to work hard.“

10 Peddlers Row, Newark“I was a student here a few years ago. Excellent instruction, affordable prices, good schedule. Very informative martial arts instruction. I was a Deputy Sheriff just over the line in Maryland when I went here. I was able to use what I learned on a regular basis to keep myaelf safe and to stop violent criminals. My understanding is that the school now has a larger studio space and is offering even more classes. Highly recommend them. If I hadn't moved away, I would still be a regular student here.“
“I was curious and took a class. I think that Aikido is very good for everyone looking to keep fit/work out. This class has fantastic and experienced teachers. The energy of the group is wonderful. I highly recommend that you give Aikido a try.“
